To show our appreciation for our generous donors, we will be sending a unique US Together 13-month 2021 calendar to anyone who donates $100 or more by the end of January! After a huge positive response from our donors, we ordered more calendars! These calendars feature recipes from staff in all three of our offices, showcasing the multicultural tapestry that is US Together. The calendar is also marked with dates that we know are special to our supporters, such as World Refugee Day in June!

It has been a hard year for our community and our world. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a persistent threat to physical and mental health, education, and economic opportunity. Refugees and other New Americans have been no exception, facing additional vulnerabilities such as language barriers and racial discrimination.

However, throughout all the ups and downs of 2020, US Together has worked hard to ensure that we provide every essential service we possibly can to every refugee and immigrant family that we serve. We have seen among our clients and staff a resiliency like never before. While the pandemic has provided us with unprecedented challenges, we've met those challenges with creativity and resolve, finding safe and socially distant ways to provide newly resettled refugee families with everything from medical case management to job and rental assistance.

For that reason, the theme of our holiday fundraising this year is Even when we're apart, we can still be US Together. Throughout this holiday season, we will be sharing stories and pictures of the staff, volunteers, and clients who have made US Together's work possible this year. We're also asking you, the community, to support us in our mission. Just a small donation could make a big difference in the life of a new refugee family.

In addition to monetary donations, we still welcome physical donations (such as hygiene items and winter clothing) that go directly to clients. To arrange for a COVID-safe dropoff, please reach out ahead of time by emailing volunteers@ustogether.us.
